You must have noticed the A State of Trance characters. They’ve been dominating the artwork of A State of Trance for quite a while now and they are created to represent a feeling. A feeling that is hard to explain in words. A positive feeling that can only be experienced on the A State of Trance events throughout the world with the ASOT characters as example or icon if you will.

The mission this year is to spread love for the music. They will be travelling across our planet to make sure we do so! The whole story is brought down to a short movie. We are really excited about it! Therefore the awesome new trailer to give you the first look and feel of the new mission. Be ready to be part of ‘The Invasion’.

Armada Night @ ADE 2011 - line up revealed!

The official line-up of Armada Music's Amsterdam Dance Event night has been revealed. On Friday October 21st, at the Passenger Terminal in Amsterdam, Armada Music and Alda Events will host DJ's Armin van Buuren, BT, Roger Shah, Sied van Riel, Dabruck & Klein, Matisse & Sadko and more. With two areas, the label represents some of the globe's best DJ's in trance, house and progressive.

For 7 full hours, from 22.00-05.00, the Passenger Terminal in Amsterdam will be all about celebrating quality dance music. Taking place during Holland's most celebrated dance event, the Amsterdam Dance Event, it's likely that the event will sell out quickly. In the third week of October, when the ADE conference takes place the entire dance scene heads over to Amsterdam to experience the globe's best parties and share business. One of the must-see names, is Armin van Buuren. He will play alongside American DJ BT, with who he collaborated on his latest album. 

Other names gracing the decks on the main stage are Roger Shah, Ørjan Nilsen, Sied van Riel and W&W. A second area is set up to host a fine selection of house DJ's. Mischa Daniels, label owner of the Fame imprint, will play alongside German duo Dabruck & Klein, part of the Armada Music Management roster, and Russian duo Matisse & Sadko, responsible for hit ‘Hi Scandinavia!'.

ALDA EVENTS OPENT ADE MET FERRY CORSTEN EN SANDER VAN DOORN

In de periode van 19 t/m 22 oktober vindt er een dance-invasie van ongekende omvang plaats met Amsterdam als muzikaal middelpunt van de wereld. De talrijke feesten rondom het internationale Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) zijn inmiddels een begrip en kunnen ieder jaar op meer bezoekers rekenen. Traditiegetrouw is Alda Events van de partij om de hoofdstad en ADE met 3 exclusieve feesten van het nodige vuurwerk te voorzien. Let's rock!

Amsterdam verandert gedurende de ADE in de partyhoofdstad van Europa, waar binnen- en buitenlandse vertegenwoordigers uit de dancescene hun beste beentje voor zetten. Het nachtprogramma van ADE heeft tegenwoordig minstens dezelfde aantrekkingskracht als het dagprogramma voor de business. In het hart van de hoofdstad is de Escape tijdens de ADE-openingsdag - op 19 oktober tussen 22:00 en 4:00 uur - the place to be! Twee DJ-ende wereldspelers zullen op de inmiddels bekende openingsavond de Escape door elkaar schudden en op zijn kop zetten.

FERRY CORSTEN
Ferry Corsten verdient in zijn thuisstad een standbeeld zo hoog als de Euromast, want de kleine grote man heeft Rotterdam eigenhandig op de trance-kaart gezet. De DJ/producer is al jaren één van de grootste avonturiers in trance-land, die inspiratie haalt uit alle hoeken van de muziek-scene. Met kippenvel melodieën als handelsmerk behoorde Ferry Corsten eerder dit jaar nog tot de absolute uitblinkers tijdens Alda Events' Electronic Family Festival. De maanden augustus en september staan vooral in het teken van zijn Full On Ferry clubavonden in de Sankeys te Ibiza, waarbij de Hollandse meester Ibiza op zijn rotsen doet schudden. Alda Events verwacht dan ook een DJ in topvorm te kunnen verwelkomen tijdens dit ADE-feest.

SANDER VAN DOORN
De bliksemschicht uit de lichtstad voelt de internationale spotlights al geruime tijd fel op zich schijnen, en is inmiddels hard op weg een top 10-klant te worden in die beruchte Engelse DJ-verkiezingslijst. Eerder dit jaar bracht Sander van Doorn het tweede deel van ‘Dusk Till Doorn' uit, een representatieve compilatiereeks voor Sander's status en sound. Het compilatiealbum is een weerspiegeling van zijn gelijknamige events waarmee hij wereldwijd de clubs en festivals verovert. Na het succes van ‘Love is Darkness', domineert zijn huidige plaat ‘Koko' zowel in Nederland als het buitenland de hit en radio speellijsten. Beide tracks staan tevens op zijn artiestenalbum ‘Eleve11' die 19 september uitkomt. De altijd breeduit glimlachende Brabander is naast het podium misschien de nuchterheid zelve, maar verandert ‘on stage' altijd in een bezeten muziekmachine.

On Saturday June 18th Menno de Jong will be performing a musical marathon on the beach of The Netherlands. An impressive 10 hour journey through the past, present and future of his career as a DJ, producer and label boss will be taking place at brand new beachclub FUEL. Famous for its stunning views of the ocean Bloemendaal provides the perfect setting for this unique event, featuring a special live performance at sunset.

Flying ...under the flag of his own imprint 'Intuition' Menno has been involved in the Dance music scene in a multitude of ways over the past decade. Nearly 250 episodes into a succesful radio show, 50 highly sought-after podcasts, two well received mix compilations, seasonal Intuition festivals and running one of the top Trance labels worldwide have provided amazing moments to look back on, and assure much more magic to come.

As a producer Menno has established himself with tracks such as 'Tundra', 'Spirit', 'Last Light Tonight', ‘Bambino’, ‘Nolthando’, ‘Guanxi’, ‘Momentum’, ‘Solid State’ and remixes for artists such as Mark Otten, Alex M.O.R.P.H., The Thrillseekers and others. He has recently been honoured by Armin van Buuren spinning his latest single ‘Turtle Paradise’ on A State Of Trance twice in a row and being part of the ASOT 500 world tour in Den Bosch and Sydney.

Menno has grown since his last solo show at Westerunie, Amsterdam in 2008 and on June 18th 2011 he will be showing you exactly how during a 10 hour monster set. There is more however, as this time around a special guest will be part of the celebration. In honor of the upcoming event Menno has worked with British vocalist Ellie Lawson to record a vocal track suitably titled 'Place In The Sun'. During Menno Solo 2011 Bloemendaal aan Zee will be hearing an exclusive live performance of this track at sunset.
